Stockport Tri Club Event 6 2017 - Open Water Sprint Triathlon

After a very successful 2016, Stockport Tri Club has planned seven, YES SEVEN, events for 2017.

The sixth and flagship event for 2017 will be back at Manley Mere, Frodsham for

An Open Water Sprint Triathlon

Manley Mere is set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside and is less than an hour's drive away from Stockport. The area is great for picnics and the location has a restaurant, a picnic area and a bar.

Why not use this as your first Open Water Tri, although the location is great for your seasoned triathletes also.

The event itself will be a Go-Tri event and will consist of the following:

• 750m swim in the lake. The swim will be marshalled by kayak and safety boat. The lake is safe and in August, the temperature of the water can be as high as 23C!
  
• 20km bike ride in country lanes.
  
• 5km run around the lake itself (trail shoes advised

There will be an a discount of £1 if a valid British Triathlon Federation number is added into the form

Relay Entries charged at £48 per team (no discounts for Relay entries)
